Buying gold and silver for the first time
MF Bullion makes buying bullion simple. Prices follow the live market, you pay in Canadian dollars the way that suits you, and every parcel is fully insured until it reaches you.
We serve clients who live in Canada, and we ship within Canada.
How to buy
- Choose your products. Prices on the site follow the live market and refresh as it moves. Buying more lowers the price per item; each product shows its price for every quantity.
- Check out. Once you are in checkout, your prices are locked for 5 minutes while you complete your order. You can order at any time, day or night.
- Pay. Pick a payment method below. Once your order is confirmed, your price is locked and the market can no longer change it.
- We confirm your order. You get a confirmation by email for your records, with payment instructions. If you are new to MF Bullion, we take you through a short onboarding first, such as confirming your delivery address.
- Receive your metal. Once your payment has cleared, we ship your order fully insured, with tracking.
Ways to pay
Each product shows two prices: the wire price and the card price. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
- Interac e-Transfer (wire price). For orders up to $20,000. Several transfers for one order are fine if your bank has a daily limit. Put your order number in the message. The e-Transfer address is in your order confirmation.
- Wire transfer (wire price). Sent through your bank's wire service. A $15 wire fee applies to orders under $10,000.
- Personal cheque (wire price). Held 5 business days to clear.
- Bank draft (wire price). Mailed like a cheque: choose Cheque at checkout. Payable to MF Bullion Canada, with your order number on it. Clears in 1 to 3 business days.
- Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay (card price: wire price + 4%). For orders up to $6,500. Visa and Mastercard, including debit. Paid at checkout.
Please pay from a Canadian bank account.
Delivery
Free, fully insured shipping on orders of $50,000 or more. Below that, shipping is $30. Orders over $5,000 ship overnight. Every parcel is guaranteed and fully insured in transit, and you get a tracking number. Please be there to receive it. See Shipping.
Good to know
- Minimum order: $250. Online orders go up to $250,000; for larger orders, please call us.
- No tax. Everything we sell is bullion that carries no GST/HST.
- Confirmed orders cannot be cancelled. If payment is not received or the order is not completed at the agreed price, a $50.00 fee applies plus any market loss.
- Selling later? We buy back. Every product page shows what we pay for it.
