1 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coin (Random Year)
**Please note that Random Date coins are backdated and may have been circulated. Years for coins sent remain at the discretion of MF Bullion, though coins will always be in good condition and command market value.**
The Royal Canadian Mint’s 1 oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf (Random Date) coins are among the world’s most popular pure gold coins, with more than 25 million units sold since their introduction in 1979. The GML was the first bullion coin to achieve the heightened standard of 9999 purity, and has become the favored coin for many investors around the globe. One side showcases an attractive maple leaf design and the obverse displays Queen Elizabeth II. The gold for these coins come from Canadian mines, and the coins are guaranteed by the Government of Canada.
The Royal Canadian Mint introduced a new and unique security feature to verify the authenticity of its bullion coins in 2013. Derived from the same award-winning security technology applied to Canada’s $1 and $2 circulation coins, the 1oz Gold Maple Leaf security features include a textured maple leaf that is micro-engraved with laser technology on a small area of the reverse side of the coin. The coin’s year of issue is denoted In the centre of this mark and is visible under high magnification.
These bullion coins are available as individual pieces, tubes of 10, and boxes of 500.
Special Features:
- Three unique features for cutting-edge security, including precise radial lines, a micro-engraved leaf and Bullion DNA anti-counterfeiting technology, exclusive to the Royal Canadian Mint.
- An attractive acquisition for both first-time precious metal buyers and long-term investors.
- Face value of $50 (CAD), the highest face value on the market for any comparable gold bullion coin.
